Call for Papers                                                                  PDF Version

The application of circuits and systems and engineering principles to the problems in the medical field has led to the emergence of biomedical circuit and systems as an exciting and rapidly growing area of research. This research area encompasses multidisciplinary aspects involving electrical engineering, life science, medical diagnostics, physiological monitoring, artificial intelligence and medical instrumentation, to name few. The Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference (BioCAS) is a premier and high-standard event providing a scientific forum for researchers to interact and exchange ideas in a very rapidly growing area of research. The conference mission is to bring together scientists, engineers and medical researchers and practitioners from all over the world to meet, discuss cutting-edge research in biomedical circuits and systems and to solve complex real world problems requiring inter-disciplinary collaboration.

Scope: Original contributions are sought in the multi-disciplinary and emerging areas of research at the crossroad of life sciences and circuits and systems engineering disciplines. BioCAS2009's organizing committee invites papers and  proposals for tutorials in (but not limited to):
