The APEC SME Summit 2012 will be held on 21 Feb 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, and under the theme “Entrepreneurship”, the forum will feature leaders from across the region, and Prof. Jack Lau of ECE has been invited as one of the speakers.

Summit discussions will focus on how to grow small businesses with successful examples of outstanding entrepreneurs from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It provides a unique opportunity for business owners, senior business managers, entrepreneurs and opinion leaders to share best practices and experience, discuss current business issues, highlight winning market strategies, network and strike new partnerships.

The Summit is organised jointly by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
