Prof Matthew McKAY was selected as one of 36 young scientists at WEF 2018

Every year, the World Economic Forum recognizes the prominent scientists in the world under the age of 40. The Young Scientists Class of 2018 featured 36 leading academics from 21 countries across six continents. Prof Matthew McKAY of ECE was selected as one of 36 young scientists at World Economic Forum (WEF) 2018.
 
The Young Scientists played an important role at the Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions on 18-20 September. They participated in sessions as well as workshops alongside leaders from government, business, civil society and other stakeholder groups and contributed ideas for solving complex challenges within and outside their core areas of interest.
