Mr. Yan LU, ECE PhD student, has won the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Predoctoral Achievement Award 2013-2014 for his excellent PhD research work. His paper titled "A 0.65ns-Response-Time 3.01ps FOM Fully-Integrated Low-Dropout Regulator with Full-Spectrum Power-Supply-Rejection for Wideband Communication Systems" will also be presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) to be held on 9-13 February 2014 in San Francisco, USA. His supervisors are Prof. Wing-hung Ki and Prof. Patrick Yue. Please refer to this ECE news item for more information on the achievements by ECE faculty and students at the ISSCC.
